Baltic Business Club MTÜ (registry code 80589892, J. Sütiste tee 33-163, 13414 Tallinn, Estonia) is the controller of the personal data collected on this website. We process personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act.

What we collect

We only collect what you enter in the forms on this site:

• Requests and messages: name, e-mail address, company or organisation (optional) and the text of your message.
• Event registration: name, e-mail address, company or organisation (optional) and the name of the event.
• Newsletter: e-mail address.
• Technical data of the visit: pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, collected by analytics only if you accept analytics cookies.

Why we process it and on what basis

We use your contact details to answer your request, to confirm your place at an event and to send event announcements you asked for. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in running the statutory activities of the association (Article 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

Who processes the data with us

To run the website and answer requests we use service providers who act as processors:

• A form delivery service that forwards the content of the form to our e-mail address.
• Our e-mail provider, where the request is stored.
• The hosting provider that serves this website.
• Google Analytics, only after you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner.

Cookies

The site works without optional cookies. Analytics cookies are set only after you press Accept in the cookie banner, and they help us count visits and event registrations. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.

How long we keep the data

We keep requests and event registrations as long as they are needed for the purpose they were sent for and for our accounting and reporting obligations. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@balticbusinessclub.com and we will answer by e-mail. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
